  • 2 tbs American mustard
  • 1 tsp dried dill
  • 1/4 cup Burger pickles, finely chopped
  • 1 tbs smoked paprika
  • 1 tbs apple cider vinegar
  • 500 g beef mince
  • 2 tsp garlic powder
  • 2 tsp onion powder
  • 1/2 tsp Pepper
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 400 g lentils, rinsed and drained
  • 1 cup shredded gentle cheddar cheese
  • 2 cups Iceberg lettuce, chopped
  • 1/2 crimson onion, finely diced

Directions

  1. Preheat oven to 180* and line 2 baking trays with baking paper.

  2. Chop potatoes into even “chip” sized items and place right into a container with a lid. Add the cornflour and provides a very good shake to evenly coat the chips, then unfold evenly over the baking trays. Bake within the oven for 50-60 minutes till golden, turning frequently.

  3. Whereas the chips are cooking, put together the sauce by combining the mayonnaise, tomato sauce, mustard, dill, pickles, apple cider vinegar, ½ tsp garlic powder, ½ tsp onion powder and half of the paprika, then put aside.

  4. Warmth a fry pan over a medium warmth, spritz with cooking oil, then add the meat mince, cooking till brown.

  5. Add the remaining paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, pepper and lentils, combine nicely, then take away from the warmth.

  6. As soon as the chips are golden, take away from the oven, and place onto a serving plate. Prime the chips with the meat combination, cheese, lettuce, onion and ready sauce to serve.
